We ordered a limited 7 piece run with Knaggs Guitars featuring unique options that had never before been made readily available.

We ordered 4 Kenai’s and 3 Severn Trembucks. What makes these guitars so unique is they all feature a very highly figured maple top AND back, stained to match. They also have a matching stained maple neck, (even on the Kenai’s which normally have a mahogany neck), and a matching maple peg head and truss rod cover. The back of these guitars look just as amazing as the front! We topped it all off with a very dark ebony finger board, and the result is simply stunning. These are absolutely some of the most amazing guitars we’ve ever seen.

But they are not only beautiful to look at. They play and sound as amazing as you would expect. After years spent as a master builder at Paul Reed Smith Guitars in charge of their Private Stock Program, Joe Knaggs has proven to be at the top of his game again and again. These guitars are not only a pleasure to play and look at, but also have a strong potential for a sound investment. No pun intended.

This particular guitar is a Tier 1 Kenai in Blue Burst fitted with Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups with coil tapping. This guitar was very difficult to photograph and none of the pictures do a good job at showing the wonderful figuring in the wood. Morningstar inlays adore the dark ebony fingerboard. The SSC features the tried and true wood combination of a Mahogany body with a carved Maple top. The classic look of a singlecut solidbody electric is where Steve Stevens’ Signature guitar starts. It features custom SS neck carve with 22 frets with a 24.75” scale, block inlays, and ray gun headstock inlay. The Bare Knuckle pick-ups, Tone Pros locking bridge, and Kluson tuners assure that this guitar is stage and studio ready.

This particular SSC also features an ebony board and an upgraded top with amazing figuring. Comes with a very nice Knaggs case.

This fantastic creation started out as a Tier 2 Kenai with dot inlays (a lot of people prefer dots) in a custom teal finish. We then decided to up the ante and put an incredible Tier 1 top on it. The flame on the top is amazing in person!

Everything else is standard Tier 2 Kenai including the Natural-Black/White/Black body purfling, Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups, 24.75″ scale, and a 12″ radius.

This one of a kind guitar comes, of course, with its beautiful Knaggs case.

The Kenai is Joseph Knaggs take on the iconic mahogany body/maple top single cutaway, set neck design. It’s absolutely gorgeous but more importantly feels & sounds fantastic. The neck profile has all the depth of a 50’s Gibson but with a smoother, more tapered shoulder for a more refined feel. The Faded Onyx finish looks great with the natural maple binding. This PRS SE Santana, (in Santana Yellow finish) is in extremely fine used condition and comes with its original soft case.

2001 Cherry Sunburst Les Paul Classic that sounds killer!

There is some wear on it, most noticeably where it was held on a cheap guitar hangar that off gasses and damaged the finish. It has numerous scratches and dings on the back. The front also has some, but as many as on the back.

Plays great with its 60’s slim taper neck. It does come with the original case, but it is pretty well shot. It will do the job to safely ship, but I will also include a nicely padded official Gibson gig bag.
